The first release on Bughouse Records was a live recording from a true legend, one of rock's genuine wild men: Hasil Adkins. The Haze came to Chicago's Lounge Ax for two shows in November 1992 and Bughouse recorded the entire occasion on swell-quality eight track equipment. Every screech, mumble, and brilliant song was captured in all the ragged glory of the Haze's best performances. The tape even includes the heart-stopping moment when, in a frenzy, the Haze threw his guitar into the crowd and beaned a fan, sending him to the hospital for six stitches. Sadly, the Haze passed away in 2005 at age 67.
